Michael Binns is a husband, father, certified Christian counselor, and ministry leader whose life stands as a powerful testimony to the transforming grace of Jesus Christ. Raised in a Christian home, Michael spent over three decades chasing purpose in all the wrong places—immersed in a lifestyle marked by poor choices, broken priorities, and a relentless pursuit of success that ultimately left him empty.

From troubled teenage years to climbing the corporate ladder and becoming one of the youngest Vice Presidents in a major insurance company, Michael achieved what many would call “success”—but at a cost. His drive for achievement strained relationships, wounded those closest to him, and left his faith as an afterthought.

Everything changed in 2015.

At his lowest point—on the floor of his living room after a breaking moment in his marriage—Michael encountered something he could no longer ignore: the call of God on his life. This time, instead of resisting, he surrendered.

What followed was not religion—but transformation.

Through consistent pursuit of Christ, service in the church, and a deepening relationship with God, Michael experienced a complete shift in identity, priorities, and purpose. From church attendee to ministry leader, he stepped into roles of influence, including church board president, lay minister, and active participant in multiple ministries at Cornerstone Church ATX.

Today, Michael is passionate about helping others break free from striving, anxiety, and misplaced identity—and guiding them into the peace, clarity, and purpose found only in Christ. Through his teaching, coaching, and the RestInChristNow platform, he equips others to stop chasing and start resting—in the finished work of Jesus.
